Terms of Service

Haus Format is operated by Haus Format LLC, a PLVNTD Company, a Georgia limited liability company, with a registered and mailing address at 830 Glenwood Ave., Ste 510 #320, Atlanta, GA 30316. The official Haus Format website is https://hausformat.co.

Haus Format operates a curated collection of houses in Atlanta, Georgia, available for four booking formats: STAY, CREATE, GATHER and RETREAT. These Terms govern your use of the Haus Format website, account and booking services. References to “Haus Format,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Haus Format LLC, a PLVNTD Company.

By creating an account or placing a booking request you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it current.

Before a booking can be placed we require a confirmed email address and a government-issued photo ID that we review internally. We may decline or revoke verification at our discretion. Booking requests from unverified accounts are not accepted.

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@hausformat.co if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Placing a request creates a temporary hold on the dates you selected. A hold is not a confirmed booking and expires automatically if it is not carried through to payment.

Some requests are reviewed by Haus Format before payment is taken. Reviewed requests are not charged until they are approved. A booking is confirmed only when we have received payment and our systems record the booking as confirmed.

All pricing, availability and mandatory fees are calculated and finally determined by Haus Format's systems at the time your booking is placed. Amounts displayed in the browser before that point are estimates.

Your total may include the base rate, a cleaning fee, add-ons, Experiences, a service fee and applicable taxes.

Certain fees are mandatory and cannot be removed: every CREATE booking includes a required Haus Format on-site management fee, and every GATHER booking includes required event security staffing. These are described in the CREATE Production Rules and GATHER Event Rules.

A refundable damage deposit may be authorized separately from your booking charge. See the Damage Deposit & Damage Responsibility Policy.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Haus Format does not receive or store your full card number or security code.

You authorize us to charge the total shown on the checkout summary for your booking, and to charge or retain amounts owed under the Damage Deposit & Damage Responsibility Policy.

You are responsible for yourself and everyone you bring. You agree to follow the House Rules, the rules for your booking format, and any lawful direction from on-site Haus Format staff or security.

We may end a booking in progress, without refund, where there is a serious breach of these Terms, a safety risk, unlawful activity, or an undisclosed material change to the nature or size of the booking.

Experiences such as private chef, yoga, massage, photography and brand activation services may be delivered by independent providers coordinated by Haus Format. Availability is confirmed separately and some Experiences are quoted rather than instantly priced.

Where a provider is independent, that provider is responsible for the professional delivery of their service. Haus Format coordinates scheduling and payment.

Cancellations are governed by the Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haus Format is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, and our total liability in connection with a booking will not exceed the amount you paid for that booking.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them, the service, or a booking are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

You and Haus Format agree that any legal proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms, the service, or a booking must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

We may update these Terms. The version in force for your booking is the version you accepted at the time of booking, which we record.
